The board of Woburn, Massachusetts based Alpha Industries Inc has turned down M/ACom Inc’s proposal of a business combination down flat: M/ACom came back with a disappointed letter saying We believe the Alpha board’s decision is a loss for everyone Alpha employees, customers and shareholders.
