AirTouch Communications Corp expects to beat last year’s record of 1 million new cellular subscribers worldwide by at least 20%, and says its AirTouch Paging business should also post record customer growth for the year. The company said it has had operating cash flow margins in the low to mid-40s range since 1992. International operations, exclusive of start-ups, earned $31m net profit in the first half 1996. For the same period in 1995 these operations suffered a loss of $12.7m, the company said. Since the spin-off from Pacific Telesis Group Inc in April 1994, it has increased its customers by 135%, its revenue by 137% and its net profit by 118%.
