Cracker Kevin Mitnick faces US District Court Judge Marianne Pfaelzer today, Friday March 26 1999. Reports last week said Mitnick had decided to enter a guilty plea. In February 1995 Mitnick was arrested and charged with copying proprietary software from the networks of cellphone companies. Between his past convictions and his frequent changes of tactic and lawyer, the celebrity cracker has been jailed without trial for more than four years.
