Cupertino, California-based Advanced Computer Communications Inc is to acquire Ring Access Inc, and says the alliance greatly increases its ability to support SNA onto the internetworking backbone: Ring Access, based in San Carlos, California manufactures and markets the RA1200, a Synchronous Data Link Control to Logical Link Control 2 SNA conversion device, and the two companies aim to develop fully the potential of SNA and internetworking; the terms were not disclosed.
