AdFlex Solutions Inc of Chandler, Arizona says that over the next six months, it will restructure its flexible interconnect operation in Havant, UK and transfer production to the company’s manufacturing facility in Lamphun, Thailand. It was only in January that it bought the company from Xyratex Ltd for $56m in shares, debt and cash and said all employees would stay on (CI No 2,825). AdFlex will maintain a technology development center and a sales and service organization to support its European customers in Havant. The 230 Havant factory workers only learned their jobs were being axed when they logged onto the AdFlex Web site to read the quarterly results statement.
