Affiliated Computer Services has announced that it has completed the acquisition of UK-based Anix for $51m. The purchase price includes the assumption of liabilities.
With the acquisition, the company aims to strengthen its IT delivery platform in the UK and expand its position in the global market.
Anix Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xploite, delivers IT infrastructure and related services – from initial consultancy, analysis and design to outsourced hosted or remote managed services, support and training to commercial and public sector clients.
ACS has informed that for the 12 months ended May 2009, Anix had adjusted revenues of approximately $70m.
The company expects to consolidate Anix with its current IT outsourcing operations in the UK, adding more than 150 employees.
Media reports reveal that the transaction is expected to close before June 30, 2009.
Over the last 18 months, ACS has expanded its European ITO presence with the acquisitions of Syan Holdings in the UK and sds business services in Germany.
