Acer Corp, San Jose has launched a new AcerPower, the 486/33, with 2Mb to 98Mb memory, and an integrated UltraVGA chip set to support resolutions of 1,024 by 768 by 16 non-interlaced for high-end graphic applications, but it starts at just $3,500 with a 1.44Mb floppy drive and four AT slots, IDE interface, mouse and bundled MS-DOS 5.0 and Windows 3.0; a promotional $4,500 bundle adds a 15mS 124.7Mb disk and an AcerView 35 14 UltraVGA colour monitor.
