Acer Corp has a new version of the Acer 1100LX laptop computer: featuring a 120Mb hard disk, it comes standard with 1Mb of RAM expandable to 5Mb via standard SIMM chips, as well as a 10 screen, six ports and an internal slot for a 2,400 bits per second Hayes-compatible modem – all for $4,000; the 40Mb of the 110LX has been cut to $3,300.
