Taiwan’s Acer Inc unit Acer Infortion Philippines exported slightly more than $192m worth of products during its first year of operations. It started producing computer mother-boards at a plant in Subic in the northern Philippines in June 1995. Acer is expanding the plant to double production of mother-boards to 300,000 a month. The firm did not give details of the cost.
