AB Electronic Products Group Plc has created a new Swansea Industrial Components Ltd out of three of its existing businesses, and has reached tentative agreement to sell the new combination to one of its directors, Thomas Layton Roberts, for UKP2.73m. The new Swansea Industrial manufactures electrical wiring harnesses for the computer, automotive, domestic appliance and entertainment industries. In the year to June 30 Swansea had a net loss of UKP1.3m on turnover of UKP12.4m. Net assets stood at UKP4.3m. Land at Morfa Road, Swansea is included in the agreement, which must be approved by shareholders.
