Redwood City, California-based 3DO Co reports that sales, distribution, product development and manufacturing of its Interactive Multiplayer are all on the rise: it estimates that the installed base of Panasonic Real 3DO Interactive Multiplayer systems has now reached 200,000 worldwide; 3DO systems and a 3DO-compatible card for personal computers are set for introduction later this year from Sanyo Electric Co, GoldStar Co and Creative Labs Inc, and Samsung Electronics Co and Toshiba Corp also say they are developing products using the design; core of the system is the Advanced RISC Machines Ltd ARM RISC.
