After we closed on Friday, 3Com Corp, Santa Clara, California joined the earnings chorus of woe, saying that turnover for its fiscal fourth fiscal quarter will be at about $112m, below the Wall Street forecasts of $115m to $120m, and that earnings per share will be below the 38 to 41 cents Wall Street had expected; for fiscal 1990 just started, 3Com expects turnover growth in the 30% to 40% range and earnings per share growth of approximately 30%; the figures are expected out around June 30.
