Xytech Systems, a provider of media business software and services, plans to launch MediaPulse in April 2009.

The company said that MediaPulse is an application suite for asset and resource-based media workflows that offers businesses a service by extending from initial request through delivery and billing. The next-generation platform leverages Xytech’s business workflow service to the media and entertainment industry.

Xytech also announced that the MediaPulse application suite has been implemented throughout the services division of a California corporation since late 2008. Since its rollout at this beta site, MediaPulse has supported one of the company’s divisions with offices in the US and abroad.

The company also said that MediaPulse was developed using the latest .NET framework to create a new product designed to improve, streamline, and automate media operations.

Richard Gallagher, CEO of Xytech, said: “We listened to our customers and dug into our experience and expertise. Out of that development and testing, we have created something revolutionary. MediaPulse is a radical departure from other applications.”
