Business and technology service company Logica has signed an agreement with HP to use its Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) software to deliver faster managed testing services.
With the new software Logica will provide clients with the tools needed to manage the entire process of application development in a single workflow, from the initial requirements development to the testing of the software builds.
Logica Global AM managing director Andreas Degenhardt said by collaborating with HP, Logica’s clients benefit not only from its testing expertise and global practice but also faster delivery combined with reduced upfront costs.
"Our clients can now have access to HP ALM with our managed services, removing the need to procure and install additional software licenses enabling faster delivery of our managed testing," Degenhardt said.
Volvo Cars company’s Quality Assurance (QA) Centre has benefited from this collaboration by turning to Logica for its application lifecycle management needs.
Volvo Application/ Technology manager Niclas Ericsson said, "By introducing the HP Application Lifecycle Management platform and the QA Centre delivered by Logica, we can now provide seamless tracking of projects from requirement to defects, enhancing the overall quality at Volvo Car Corporation."
