e-Spirit the manufacturer content management system (CMS) FirstSpirit has introduced a new module that enables the integration of the FirstSpirit CMS into Microsoft SharePoint 2010.
With e-Spirit’s new module SharePoint users can access an additional flexible, user-friendly CMS offering that satisfies the highest content management requirements.
In close cooperation with e-Spirit, the integration partner MATERNA Group and e-Spirit technology has developed the FirstSpirit "Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Integration" module.
The collaboration and document management platform of the SharePoint 2010 Server is enhanced by FirstSpirit to include comprehensive CMS functions, while providing a user-friendly work interface.
The central administration and decentralised output of content in any number of languages for international websites can be implemented and rolled out quickly, cost-effectively and with lower hardware costs through the integration of the FirstSpirit CMS with SharePoint.
In addition, SharePoint users can leverage the FirstSpirit CMS for complex, heterogeneous portal landscapes or to publish content through different output channels.
e-Spirit North America COO Robert Bredlau said SharePoint’s native CMS functions are frequently not enough to meet the requirements of large, international businesses with multi-lingual websites.
"The FirstSpirit Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Integration module now provides a professional enterprise-class web CMS to satisfy the highest standards in the .NET world," said Bredlau.
