CyberlinkASP, a provider of integrated managed hosting offerings, is offering managed virtual desktops utilising Citrix XenDesktop technologies on the SoftLayer infrastructure-as-a-service platform.
The Citrix XenDesktop enables users to access data, with all files centrally stored, backed up and monitored from one of SoftLayer’s data centres.
CyberlinkASP said that the partnership with SoftLayer partnership, will enable them to reduce hardware provisioning and cutover times from weeks to few hours.
The company said that its proprietary facilities will also be linked via redundant 10gigabit fiber to SoftLayer’s network-within-a-network topology, which allows its client’s access to fully managed infrastructure-as-a-service.
