Adobe has announced that it is pushing up the prices of its creative suite 4 software line up by up to 10% in the UK. The company attributed the price hike to the exchange rate fluctuations between the Euro and the Pound.
The creative suite also includes Photoshop which is expected to rise from £485 to £534, while the cost of Design Premium is expected to go up to £1, 578.
While the UK consumers will be hit by the price hike, the company has said that it is going to reduce the prices of CS4 by around 13% in some of the European countries. The creative suite’s Design Premium version is available in the US for $1799, but it would cost £1, 578 in the UK.
Adobe said that similar price rise was seen in AdobeStores in Sweden and Norway, due to significant changes in the exchange rate between Swedish Kroner/Norwegian Kroner and the Euro.
Adobe Creative Suite 4 delivers integrated software and services that claims to improve productivity and helps to produce richly expressive work in print, web, interactive, video, audio, and mobile.
The new price structure is said to be effective from 1st July.
