New government policy in Thailand, the Computer Related Crime Act B.E. 2550, requires any company that deals with public data on the internet to comply with specific regulations. To meet these requirements, ACIS i-secure has built an application on Splunk, for delivery to their user base through their managed security services offerings.
Splunk’s universal indexing capabilities are expected to give iSecure’s customers the ability to collect, index and secure all security data from any application, server or device, keeping it all within the boundaries of their own networks.
Pong Trakulthong, managing director of ACIS i-secure, said: Through our collaboration with Splunk we are able to help our customers meet their compliance requirements. ACIS i-secure chose the Splunk IT Search platform because they make it easy to quickly build a custom solution that solves problems, has a better overall value proposition, and more deployment flexibility than the alternatives.
Splunk collects and manages logs, configurations, messages, traps, alerts and statistics from every IT component. That data is then available to any application for problem solving, threat response, compliance reporting or insight into user activity and transactions.
