As a member of Open IP Solution Development Program (OSDP), Juniper Networks provides Triveni Digital with access to the Partner Solution Development Platform (PSDP) that is claimed to enable customers and partners to develop specialized applications on its Junos software.

The PSDP provides Triveni Digital with a set of resources, including a software development kit (SDK) with secure interfaces to JUNOS routing and service functions, and technical and business support. The SDK allows applications to utilize JUNOS features to create an integrated solution.

Triveni Digital plans to use this platform to integrate its StreamScope video monitoring solution with Juniper Networks Junos software to enable deep MPEG analysis for application on Juniper Networks edge routers.

Mark Simpson, president and CEO of Triveni Digital, said: By integrating our StreamScope technology and Junos software using the PSDP, Juniper and Triveni Digital will enable our common customers to provide the highest quality of video services more reliably and with a higher scalability.

Triveni Digital, a subsidiary of LG Electronics, develops systems that provide for the management and distribution of data and metadata in digital television streams. Triveni Digital’s production are DVB SI, ATSC PSIP, data broadcasting, stream analysis, and monitoring. In September 2008, Juniper Networks announced that the company’s MX-series Ethernet Services Routers has been selected by Divona Telecom to create a high-speed, service-enabling backhaul network to meet the demand for its wireless broadband services portfolio.
