Meru Networks has announced a new 802.11n access point product line for the extended enterprise, the AP1000i.
The company said that its AP1000i leverages the power of its Single-Channel, Virtual Port and Virtual Cell technologies, and delivers Wireless-Like-Wire experience for the distributed enterprise.
The new offering is enhanced by the optional Service Assurance Manager software and facilitates IT managers to have predictive WLAN availability and visibility to branch and remote offices.
The AP1000i is administered and managed by centralised IT departments and service providers, and delivers uniform coverage with minimal RF planning and ongoing RF site surveys.
Meru Networks said its new WLAN offering provides branch-to-core security that includes integrated rogue mitigation and intrusion prevention.
Meru Networks senior vice president of marketing Ram Appalaraju said with the AP1000i, their proven innovations are now available starting at new entry-level price points to enable no compromise secure, scalable and reliable WLAN solutions for the extended enterprises.
