Comba provides wireless communications networks infrastructure to mobile operators and enterprises. Its portfolio of in-building and outdoor systems include repeaters, antennas, digital microwave systems, and related radio frequency passive accessories required for GSM and CDMA as well as 3G and broadband systems.
Comba’s new headquarters in China houses the R&D facility, as well as general and administration functions. This includes its new anechoic chamber used for testing of antennas.
Comba’s operations cover Russia and the other Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Leading the expansion is Askanaz Varajian, who has over 10 years experience in the wireless telecoms space.
Fredrik Dyfverman, vice president of sales and business development at Comba, said: “We are delighted to inaugurate our new office for the CIS region. According to the ITU, Russia has one of the fastest wireless subscriber growth rates in the world. Consequently, there will be incremental demands on mobile network capacity and coverage, and Comba’s solution portfolio and price/performance efficiency will be helping operators address these demands.”
Comba has offices in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Thailand, India, Sweden and US.
