AT&T and Henkel have entered into a five-year multi-million dollar agreement, through which AT&T will manage the worldwide global network infrastructure supporting Henkel’s 50,000 employees in more than 100 countries.
As per the agreement, AT&T will support a range of managed services across its network to Henkel locations worldwide. Henkel aims to improve intercompany collaboration and to better enable the company to meet the needs of its customers worldwide.
According to AT&T, by providing a global Internet Protocol (IP) network to Henkel, it will be able to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of services and give Henkel the foundation to deploy scalable, resilient, and secure transformation applications and services.
The services will include IP telephony, and collaboration tools, such as video conferencing and web-meeting services, and other managed network services throughout their global operations.
In addition, AT&T will also provide Henkel with a bespoke integrated eBonding offering for Ticketing and Ordering, which is geared at providing improved productivity, flexibility, as well as an increase in the speed and accuracy of their network transactions.
Further, Henkel will have the benefits of AT&T’s wireless services in the US. AT&T will also provide mobility offerings to around 2,500 Henkel employees in the US, supporting a variety of devices and applications including smartphones, 3G data service, and cellular voice services.
