Analytic data applications company Teradata has released a new single purpose system designed to leverage SAS advanced analytics, Teradata 700 appliance for SAS High-Performance Analytics.
The new release is now available as part of an integrated application, called ‘SAS High-Performance Analytics for Teradata.’
The new analytic platform leverages in-memory analytics approach, which distributes complex analytics in parallel across a vast pool of memory.
The Teradata 700 appliance is pre-loaded with SAS High-Performance Analytics and delivers an integrated system that allows organisations to analyse large volumes of data, and enhance model development and deployment capabilities.
The new software increases the yield from current analytic modeling processes, compresses analytic modeling life cycles from weeks to minutes, increases the productivity of analytic staff and ensures a unified application, with software, hardware and services.
SAS senior vice president and chief technology officer Keith Collins said: "SAS High-Performance Analytics for Teradata combines superior software for data exploration, model development, and model deployment — with the powerful new Teradata 700 appliance to help users address business and IT challenges in an integrated system."
