Sota Technology Inc, Sunnyvale, California says that its Texas Instruments Inc TMS34010-based 340i graphics board is now available with TIGA 2.0 drivers for Microsoft Windows 3.0 applications, and is bundling a proprietary hardware windowing accelerator, CGA emulation, 1Mb of video RAM and a five-year warranty in a $1,600 package: the 340i supports resolutions up to 1,280 by 1,024 non-interlaced in 16 colours and lower-resolution versions, with 512Kb of video and dynamic RAM are also available starting at less than $1,000; the Sota 340i comes with programming interfaces for TIGA 2.0, DGIS, 8514/A and drivers that include a Display List Processor driver for AutoCAD 10; it also has an on-board mouse port to save a full slot in the AT-alike.
