London-based IT services company Oryx Align has deployed BMC TrackIt to streamline its processes that will allow for easy management of its clients’ hardware without visiting the site and performing manual audits.
The streamlined IT processes saves time for both for Oryx Align and its customers, allowing for better management of clients’ hardware.
Deployment of BMC TrackIt will help Oryx Align to complete an audit on a particular machine within a few minutes, the company said.
The London-based IT services company evaluated two applications BMC Software’s TrackIt and Hornbill Essentials. It can now monitor the status of its clients’ assets to ensure they are effectively supported.
BMC said TrackIt is an effective, simple-to-use and quick to implement help desk system.
Oryx Align technical manager Keith Christie-Smith said using BMC TrackIt has streamlined Oryx Align’s processes, allowing it to manage the clients’ hardware on-site, without attending the site and wasting time performing manual audits.
"Previously, it would take us a whole day to audit our customers’ equipment. With BMC’s TrackIt solution, we can now complete an audit on a particular machine within a few minutes," Christie-Smith said.
