The company says that the RFU had outgrown its previous IT system and required a new web-based system to replace it.

Mike Morris, network manager at the RFU, said: Sostenuto will help us on several levels; we will manage third parties more effectively, the timed-release process allows my team to work within the constraints of the RFU’s SLA in a more efficient way, and we will be able to create multiple categories and sub categories in the incident creation process.

The RFU is the oldest rugby union in the world, and presides over more than 2 million people who play the game in England. It is in charge of rugby at all levels, from grassroots to the international team.

Sunrise Software provides IT service management systems. Its customers include Anglian Water, Mothercare, the NHS, QVC, and Harper Collins. Sostenuto ITSM is a process-driven, browser-based service, which the company says complements its client-server offering, Enterprise.
