Greg Parker, president of Raketu, said: Increasingly our users who have Windows Mobile smart phones have been requesting that Raketu run native on their handsets to eliminate the high cost of international calling from their mobile devices. Now anyone with a mobile device that uses the Windows Mobile operating system can make free and low-cost VoIP calls to friends, family, and business associates globally.

Raketu said the Windows Mobile application is downloadable in beta release and offers free calling zones in 42 countries including China, Japan, Australia, the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Mexico, and the US.

Last month, the company announced a mobile version of its software for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch, as well as a business VoIP service for select models of the BlackBerry.
