We’re responding to what customers have told us they really need to support their advanced deployments of Linux and open source, said Red Hat’s VP of enterprise solutions Tim Yeaton, in a statement.
The so-called Red Hat and Intel Solution Acceleration Program would operate online and at major support centers in the US, India and Germany, as well as 14 satellite locations around the world. The program is slated to begin in April.
Services will include training, proof-of-concept support, reference and certified stacks, application testing and porting, channel and vertical product definition, and advanced knowledge projects.
