TEOCO, a provider of routing and revenue management offerings to communications service providers, has acquired an Israel-based TTI Telecom, a provider of service assurance offerings to communications service providers.

The company said that this acquisition nearly doubles its market size, expands its geographical reach, and enhance its strength in real-time network assurance.

In addition, TEOCO will get expertise in LTE and 4G networks, which would enable its clients to address the challenges and reap the benefits of data-centric networks, the company said.

TEOCO said that this acquisition will drive innovation as it invests in product development that expands on TTI’s 4G capabilities. Additionally, TTI’s assets, employees, and offering will be integrated with TEOCO.

TEOCO chairman and chief executive officer Atul Jain said that the pairing of TEOCO and TTI represents a new era of network management, one that spans the needs of any service provider.

"From legacy to next-gen networks, operators need ways to reduce costs, optimise revenue, and gain greater control over the quality of services they are delivering," Jain said.

"I am very excited about the synergies these two organisations bring together, and believe that our two parts create a greater whole."
