Network-management software applications provider SPATIALinfo with its spatialSUITE products, will provide a geo-spatial application for Globe Telecom’s fibre management (FMS) project that will improve quality of their physical network data records.
The implementation of SPATIALinfo’s geo-spatial application will result in improved operational efficiencies, reduced MTTR through integration with service assurance processes, and reduced service outages as a result of integration with their existing OSS platforms.
spatialSUITE is an application that manages the physical assets of service providers and companies use SPATIALinfo applications to efficiently deploy and manage their fiber, copper, and HFC networks.
SPATIALinfo will be working with partners Ark One and Apex CoVantage, to deliver the FMS project.
Globe Telecom chief technical advisor Robert Tan said the project is a strategic fit in its OSS blueprint that will enable the company to streamline its operations and leverage geo-spatial information.
"The FMS will allow us to capture, design, and implement fiber network expansions more cost effectively by transforming our current engineering processes to a highly automated solution, which will ultimately benefit our customers," said Robert Tan.
