According to the company, its NetGuardian DX 64 can double, triple and even quadruple the number of alarm points reported by the NetGuardian 864A RTU. Up to three NetGuardian DX 64 units can be daisy-chained to the 864A, giving a total of 256 SNMPv3 points.
Using the dual RS232 ports to daisy-chain the NetGuardian DX 64 to the 864As already in alarm system will allow avoiding any complicated installations. In presence of SNMP manager, the NetGuardian DX 64 also allows to conserve by adding more alarm points to the same SNMP IP address.
Eric Storm, president of DPS Telecom, said: Expanding network monitoring capacity in 64-point increments allows your visibility to keep pace with your growth at both logistical and economic levels.
