NTT DOCOMO has signed a broad-based business tie-up with China Mobile Communication, and South Korean telecom operator KT.
Under this agreement, the three companies will work together on areas including: international roaming, enterprise services, LTE and network technologies, smartphones and common platforms.
The three companies will set up a business cooperation committee that will consider opportunities for collaboration in the mobile market including the further globalisation of corporate activities and the increasing demand for smartphones.
DOCOMO said that through this collaboration it aims to provide mobile customers with new experiences and greater convenience in the rapidly growing regional market of Northeast Asia, where increasing international cooperation is creating opportunities for new business development.
