Avaya has unveiled new data products including four offerings, which it claims to unify previously disparate networking elements to increase network dependability, efficiency and scalability.
The company claims that ‘Fit for Purpose’ network offerings are designed to deliver communications applications, the specific tools needed by a specific company better and cheaper.
According to Avaya, the new product offerings include, Ethernet Routing Switch 8800 to help enterprise campuses and data centres optimally boost capacity to embrace UC, virtualisation and unified wireless offerings; and Wireless Lan 8100 Series that offers an advanced 802.11n wireless solution that extends UC applications to mobile users.
The Avaya Unified Communications Management (UCM), Configuration and Orchestration Manager (COM) is a high-density, high-performance and resilient network management application that is part of the Unified Communications Management offering that manage multi-user configuration, provisioning and troubleshooting for various enterprise technologies, the company said.
In addition, the new products also include, the Advanced gateway 2330, a flexible SIP gateway providing voice services for branch locations and is upgradable to support a full suite of routing and WAN services.
