The Haarlem, Netherlands-based Computer Brokers Exchange, on which brokers of IBM hardware announce or seek availability of specific models and configurations – DEC hardware is about to be added – has extended its geographic reach by agreeing to merge with ATC/Bluebird of Houston, Texas. CBE currently has over 300 broker and dealer subscribers to its network in Europe, the Far East and Australasia, and ATC/Bluebird brings another 200 subscribers worldwide to the party. Both support centres will be maintained and the new organisation will trade as CBE/Bluebird Global Net.
