Compaq Computer Corp has signed technical support alliances with 15 hardware and software companies, saying that it will support their shared customers in multi-vendor environments based on Compaq personal computer systems: the signatories are 3Com Corp, Banyan Systems Inc, Digiboard Inc, Digital Communication Associates, Emerald Systems Inc, Interactive Systems, Liberty Electronics, Microsoft Corp, Novell Inc, Oracle Corp, Proteon Inc, Racal Interlan Inc, The Santa Cruz Operation, Standard Microsystems Corp and Western Digital Corp.
