S&P Capital IQ has launched a new app on the Salesforce AppExchange, providing easy access to company information from S&P Capital IQ’s database.
Salesforce users can access global company profiles and in-depth information about the company. This includes business descriptions, number of employees and the names of competitors, subsidiaries and direct investments.
In addition, the app provides background information on key executives and board members, company financial data and key information on company announcements and transactions.
The interface allows subscribers to search by keywords, company names, executive names and titles. Users can also specify parameters including geography, industry or revenue.
The app targets the enterprise mobility market, making it easier for sales and marketing professionals to rapidly research potential clients, especially when working remotely on mobile devices.
"We are particularly excited about this opportunity with Salesforce because our two organizations share so many similar objectives aimed at assisting client decision making, deepening customer relationships, and identifying new business leads and opportunities," said Imogen Dillon Hatcher, President, S&P Capital IQ.
She added: "Now, by using S&P Capital IQ’s app, Salesforce users throughout the world will have immediate access to our robust and in-depth information on literally millions of public and private companies – information that will give them an edge over their competitors in a very big way."
