Pro Softnet, a provider of cloud-based storage and remote access offerings, has added Photo backup features to its back up application for iPhones, IDrive Lite.
With the new addition of Photo backup to IDrive Lite, users can choose to backup individual photos, or can upload an entire album.
The backed up photos are accessible via web. This app is currently offered for free, said the company.
According to the company, features now include: easy backups and restores of contacts; multiple platform support allowing transfer of contacts between devices; enable location tracking, add and manage contacts who can see users location; track all opted in contacts on a map view; and easy backup and restores of photos for the iPhone.
Pro Softnet president and CEO Raghu Kulkarni said IDrive Lite is the largest stand-alone smart-phone backup utility in the smart-phone segment. With the photo backup enhancement, the company is solidifying the lead.
