dinCloud has debuted an online application, dinManage, that offers users control over their own cloud environment, including desktops, servers, storage and network security resources.

The company said dinManage allows efficient web-based control of the network and comes with dinCloud’s dinHVD (Hosted Virtual Desktop) offering as part of the basic bundled system.

The automated provisioning system of dinManage adds additional virtual desktops and services to an existing infrastructure, and includes reporting and analytics functions offering system performance, usage and productivity details to CIOs and IT managers.

dinCloud chief operating officer Shahzad Munawwar said dinManage puts a secure, robust platform directly in IT’s hands to allow them to directly and efficiently manage their own resources.

"We feel the capability to manage, provision and access reporting is key to successful use of cloud-based services and as such, we’ve included our cloud orchestration and management platform as part of our core service offering," added Shahzad.

The online application supports public, private and hybrid clouds and can configure hardware and software specifications of the virtual machines, the company noted.

dinManage also provides provisioning and de-provisioning of virtual hosted desktops, virtual hosted servers, security and networking such as VPN, IPs, and firewall, and has upgrade and downgrade options to virtually reconfigure machines.

The software features a remote console for accessing a machine remotely as an admin user and power on/off individual virtual machines using the on and off toggle button and is developer and marketplace-ready for API’s and web-services.
