Bluestone Software Inc has pulled off a string of complementary product agreements to bundle and integrate new technology with its Visual-XML toolkit. The alliances, with Cloudscape Inc, Extensibility Inc, Fiorano Software Inc, PointBase Inc and Vervet Logic, endow Visual-XML with a range of new capabilities. From Fiorano/EMS comes pure Java message-queuing and a publish- subscribe communications listener and dispatcher. From Cloudscape, Visual-XML gets 100% Pure Java SQL database management and the Cloudsync application synchronization facility. PointBase provides another 100% Pure Java DBMS. The last two partners bring XML authoring tools to the mix – Extensibility’s XML Authority v1.0, a schema design and conversion tool, and Vervet Logic’s XML Pro v2.0, an editor. Bluestone promises plug-and-play compatibility with all bundled products.
