The Islandia, New York-based systems management giant acquired the Miramar software for an undisclosed fee in March to get its hands on Desktop DNA, a specialist technology for automating PC migrations, and has now updated it to version 4.7.
The technology automatically manages, transfers and maintains PC configuration features such as system and application settings, printer settings, data files and folders to improve the efficiency of desktop hardware and software migrations.
Now branded Unicenter Desktop DNA and integrated with CA’s Unicenter systems management suite, version 4.7 of the software is available now from CA’s resellers, solution providers and other partners and costs from $26.40 per node for 100 nodes.
