New reports claim that the much-anticipated Apple Watch will go on sale in March.
Apple has previously hinted at a release date in early 2015, but according to 9to5mac the device will be rolled out across the US in March. Manufacturing is planned to start in January.
In the week beginning 9th February, representatives from Apple Stores will be sent to Apple offices in either Cupertino, California or Austin, Texas to be given retail training for the watch. These representatives will in turn train other employees in their respective outlets.
Testing and improvements of the device’s battery have been taking place since the device was first unveiled in September. Speaking at the WSJ.D conference in October, Apple CEO Tim Cook commented of the Apple Watch:
"I think this is a fantastic example of something that enriches lives. It’s an area I’m very excited about from multiple points of view."
