Richardson, Texas-based Computer Automation Inc has now sold the assets related to its LANCO local area network business to John Campbell, the founder of the LANCO product line and an officer and director of the company for assumption of trade payables and a 15% equity interest in the new LANCO line; the company bought the business only in August 1992, for 2.9m new shares; Computer Automation says that in view of the limited resources available, it has decided to focus all its efforts on building its proprietary facsimile management systems.
