IceWEB, a provider of unified data storage and building blocks for cloud storage networks, has been selected by the US Department of the Interior to manage and store geospatial data.
The company said that it will manage the US Department of the Interior’s suite of integrated systems of around 20TBs (terabytes) of geospatial data which will be used to facilitate decisions that impact federal lands, facilities, infrastructures and resources.
IceWEB CEO John Signorello said that the company was encouraged to see that the federal government customers continue to purchase its storage platform products for various mission critical applications.
