Elixir Technology, a provider of business intelligence offerings, and Netezza, a provider of data warehouse, analytic and monitoring appliances, have entered into a new technology partnership agreement, under which both the parties will provide offerings that allows users to analyse sets of data.
Elixir said that the new relationship will expand the global reach of both the companies. The company has opened its first North American office in Irvine, California in April 2010.
Elixir Technology’s Business Intelligence series of products includes a information dashboard, enterprise reporting, integrated data ETL, and job scheduling features, as well as ad hoc reporting and analysis for the end users.
Elixir enables customers to build customised analytics dashboards and reports using a drag-and-drop interface, while Netezza’s data warehouse analytics offering provides performance and data compression that result in efficient use of storage resources.
Doug Etzel, vice president, Asia Pacific for Netezza, said: "This agreement helps both Netezza and Elixir meet the growing need to extend what was limited access to business intelligence analytics and data, to now thousands of users, partners and customers."
