Anametrix has completed its acquisition of an independent business analytics technology provider Nordic Research, to extend its ability to offer cloud-based information visualisation and predictive modeling of multiple online, offline and external databases.
According to Anametrix, its cloud-based business analytics platform provides organisations with real-time access to multiple data sources including customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), social media, search engine marketing (SEM), video and audio, e-commerce, and web analytics.
As part of the agreement, Nordic Research founder Anders Olsson joins Anametrix as chief technical officer, who will spearhead Anametrix’s product strategy and technical direction.
Prior to founding Nordic Research, Olsson’s had 15 years of web-based technology experience. He worked as system architect at WebSideStory and Omniture and directed product development with data collection and visualisation products.
