The Iris suite of products provides multiple organizations at a service provider with real-time and historical information for service troubleshooting and performance monitoring needs.

Verizon Wireless said it will use the Iris LTE solution to increase visibility into IP service uptake, usage and quality, and the network’s ability to deliver these IP services.

Tektronix Communications’ Iris suite of products includes: GeoProbe G10; Iris Analyzer toolset that provides L2 to L7 troubleshooting by characterizing IP traffic by links, applications and servers; and IrisView, a configurable software framework that provides a single, integrated platform for all applications.

It also includes Iris Performance Intelligence that provides end-to-end analysis and reporting capabilities coupled with a KPI/KQI modeling engine that allows operators to better link desired business outcomes to events that occur at the network level.
