Rumours are circulating that business process management firm Cordys has removed CEO Per Jonsson after less than 18 months in the role.
There has been no official comment from Cordys except for a short statement released to CBR reading: "Cordys does not comment on rumour or speculation".
However sources have confirmed to CBR that Jonsson has left his role.
Jonsson took the reins at the BPM vendor in September 2010, after previous roles at Cosalt, a provider of safety and protection equipment and services to the marine and offshore industries, and Patientline, a provider of bedside entertainment and communications in hospitals. He also spent 16 years with General Electric.
He was tasked with steering the company as it transitioned to a "sales and marketing driven organisation", the company said at the time.
Cordys was founded by Jan Baan in 2001, three years after he quit as boss of Baan, the ERP vendor he founded in 1978. He currently serves as chairman and chief innovation officer at Cordys. Alongside Baan when he started Cordys was Theodoor van Donge, who currently serves as chief technology officer.
