US-based cloud computing technology provider Egnyte has integrated enterprise file sharing platform with the DocuSign’s eSignature application as part of its plans to offer file-sharing platform for the enterprise.

The integration will combine the features of Egnyte’s enterprise file sharing and synchronisation with DocuSign’s eSignature transaction management platform to offer an application, which supports secure access to share and manage documents that need a signature.

According to the company, the integration changes signature process by removing the need of massive documents or paper printing for signature.

Egnyte CEO Vineet Jain said that the enterprises require instant and secure access to business-critical files.

"Our hybrid approach provides our users with access to the files they need, whenever and wherever business takes place," Jain added.

DocuSign chief revenue officer Neil Hudspith said, "DocuSign’s integration with Egnyte enables enterprises to collaborate and sign agreements wherever business takes them – whether it’s in the construction zone or anywhere else deals get done."

The company also offers the users with the choice to use the services together either by sending a document for eSignature using DocuSign directly from the Egnyte web interface or by using DocuSign’s mobile app from an iOS mobile device to select an Egnyte document for signature.

Earlier, the UK based company had integrated its application with with Google Drive.
