BT has added additional security capabilities from Check Point Software Technologies to it’s cloud services network.
The Israeli security company will deploy its 13500 series firewall technology at BT’s global internet gateways. The move comes as BT enhances internet breakout from its global network at global gateways, located at world’s internet peering locations.
BT Global Services customers will now have access to embedded Cloud Firewall services as a standard solution.
BT announced its ‘cloud of clouds’ vision in April, aiming to make it easier for organisations to connect to applications and data through a service catalogue in its Cloud Management System.
