SAP AG will today finally unveil its much hyped mySAP.com portal, giving its users a first-time glimpse of the software including pricing details and shipping dates. The company’s chairman and CEO, Hasso Plattner will use his keynote speech to spell out his company’s internet strategy and demonstrate the portal, which provides users with web based access to all SAP’s front and back office applications. Much of the conference is expected to center around demonstrations of the individual components of the mySAP.com as well as highlighting the company’s key ASP (application service provider) partnerships with EDS, Qwest and E-Online plus a new alliance with Siemens AG, announced yesterday. At Sapphire, the company will also share the stage with hardware and software vendors, including Sun Microsystems, IBM, WebMethods, Tibco, and a range of content providers. Each will help mySAP.com interface with other business applications within the enterprise or with trading partners, and offer personalized content and services.
